What
did you effectively learn for your life in
school?
Were
you ever asked by teachers: Why are you here,
what are you interested in, what can I do for
you, what would you like to learn, how can I
help you, to live your
life? Did you learn how to handle money or the
laws of success, did you learn how to cope
with a crisis, how to solve problems, how to
attain your goals with confidence, how to stay
healthy and dynamic and develop your talents?
The
answer is repeatedly shocking and the
knowledge gained from this is, that you only
learn the really important things in life
outside the normal educational system – or
not at all! So many times things like, education of the heart,
unfolding of self, creativity, communication,
knowledge of people and a clear, aware
consciousness are left by the wayside, exactly
the values, that make up a fulfilled life.
Other
things that we don’t learn in the normal
schools (everyone spends on average 10,000
hours there!) is how to keep our bodies
healthy, how to solve problems and confidently
reach our goals. But this is the thing that
life is all about, and schools have the task
of making the student fit for life, they
should serve the people, help them to unfold
self and to realise their creative potential.
But
we are not here to criticise the existing
school system, but to provide quick help, to
insert the missing things and to make the
whole thing affordable, as, for example, the
“Life Schools for Children.”
In
this way, the life schools can be attended
from early childhood (Kindergarten, Primary
School) and can begin to address and promote
the student’s qualities, which suit his
individual needs and which serve his success
in life. His ability to concentrate on
essential things, to have a clear goal,
self-confidence in his own life’s vision and
the
personality, to have the stamina to hold on to
this goal, are all a part of this. Live your
life – really truly and authentically, this
is Life School’s message.
Basically,
every person is striving for fulfilment.
However, we don’t receive instructions at
birth saying, how to live and be happy.
But somehow every person carries this
knowledge deep within themselves – it just
has to be woken up.
It’s
only a case of providing the right conditions,
a climate of consciousness, to stimulate the
inner apparatus of growth. Goethe was once
asked: “What is the point of living?” He
answered:” That what the plant does
unconsciously, you do it consciously.” In
other words, conscious growth, so that the
hidden, inner potential can be exposed to the
light. The word “Education” comes from
(Latin) educare and means “to pull something
out.” Every person brings a gift with them
into this world, that is slumbering inside
them, a vision. To discover and live this,
that is what it’s all about.
